A leading automotive company asked Bitia to develop a solution to detect alerts arising from the analysis of supplier capacity versus the requirements of production plants.
SOLUTION AND BUSINESS VALUE
Bitia developed a web-based solution that, by interfacing with the client’s SAP and other legacy systems, imports production plant requirements and compares them with supplier reports to generate appropriate alerts whenever demand exceeds supplier capacity. The system is also used to verify whether the supply agreements defined during contract negotiations with suppliers have been properly executed, helping to anticipate potential disputes in cases where the supplier has not met the contractual commitments regarding declared production capacity.
